Summer is coming to a close and I know all of us homeschoolers are on the hunt for the best homeschool curriculum for our families. I will be sharing our curriculum choices with you below. I feel like as the years go on it is getting easier for me to choose my homeschool curriculum. We are very eclectic in what we choose for our homeschool curriculum. I am just not the kind of person that fits into a box, so neither should our homeschool. This year in our homeschool I will have a preschooler, a 2nd grader and a 4th grader (and a baby).
Not everything is pictured in each of the images because we are not completely finished collecting it all. We ted to do it a little at a time through the summer as expenses allow.
Homeschool Preschool Curriculum:
We just discovered The Amazing Action Alphabet and will be using that to help him learn his letters. We will be doing a letter of the week at our house this year. I will continue on with the About Me book we started a while back (review here). I also found a fun Star Wars preschool set that we’ll use. I will be using Pinterest for letter crafts and projects, read a lot of stories and songs and keeping it pretty simple. I think the first year of preschool should really be low-key. I just want him to feel included and get him loving school. He is ready and anxious to start!! I will also be pulling ideas from some of the great FREE preschool curriculum options that I pulled together on THIS post. He will also be part of a once a week preschool class at our homeschool co-op on Fridays.
