Multiplication Card Game

Do you have have game days in your homeschool?  We like to do that from time.  My kids recently decided to have an official learning game day once each month!  We have a pretty decent collection of educational games now that we love, so it is lots of fun.  We have been playing a great new multiplication card game lately that I wanted to tell you all about! The game is called HoliMaths. (read about it & enter the giveaway below! (This is a sponsored post. I received a free game and am being compensated for my time in writing this post.  All opinions are mine.)

Multiplication Card Game reviewed at Teach Beside Me

The HoliMaths game is a family strategy game that helps kids learn multiplication! There are two different levels of games. One box has the multiplication tables from 1 through 6 and the other has the multiplication tables 7-12. This multiplication math game has 10 different ways to play for varying ages and numbers of players. I love all of the different games that you can play with them because it gives the cards great variety and my kids don’t get bored with them.

You may notice that the boxes we received are in Spanish!  They created their first edition in Spanish, but the second one is in English. They will include instructions in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German in the second version, too!

The HoliMaths Multiplication card game comes with 2 sets of cards. One set has multiplication problems on them and the other has solutions on them.  They have a magic bag that you put the smaller solution cards in to draw from during game play. There re also help cards that include all of the multiplication facts and solutions on them to help kids during the game.

In our favorite version of the game, you were dealt six problem cards and six solution cards. You had to make matches with the ones in your hand, as well as by drawing & discarding each turn. You can also lay down solutions or problems that match with other players. They have smiley face cards that are wild cards. Those are exciting to get because they can work for any problem or solution!

My kids and I really enjoyed playing the game and tried many different versions of the game.  We are happy to add this into our educational game library and use it for learning game days in our homeschool!! I recommend this for anyone with kids who want a fun way to practice and solidify their math facts. It is great for teachers and parents, alike.

See how it is played in this video. Also, enter the giveaway!!!
