Pley~ Toy Subscription

Have you heard of Pley before?  It is a toy subscription site ( mostly for Legos) that works a little like Netflix. Legos are a big deal in our house. I think for the past 6 Christmases and Birthdays my son has asked for Legos. Now my second son is starting up on the same path and asking for Legos, as is my daughter. When I heard about Pley, all I could think was “brilliant!”  I can fuel my kid’s need for Legos without having to store and buy all of them.

How Does the Pley Toy Subscription Work?

Pley has mostly Legos, but also K’Nex and a few other fun toys to rent and play with until the kids are ready to return them. There are unlimited exchanges, free shipping, and quick delivery.

The toys come in a box with instructions to set it up. They can dump the lego set right into the box to play and build. The box also includes a prepaid return shipping label. When the kids are finished playing with it, they return it to the same box and send it back.

How much does the Pley Toy Subscription Cost?

You pay a monthly fee and receive a toy each month to use. There are a few different subscription options. If you pay upfront for 6 or 3 months it is less expensive than paying month to month. For a 6-month subscription (paid in advance) it is $19.99/month.  A 3-month subscription (paid in advance) is $22.99/month and a month-to-month payment is $24.99/month. Since most of the Lego sets cost more than this monthly price, it really could end up being a savings in the long run!  They also sell gift cards so you can use it as a gift and spend as much as you would like to.
