Want a fun little activity to help children with letter recognition? Check out these great letter building templates. It’s an alphabet puzzle for each individual letter! My daughter loved these and calls them her letter puzzles. This is a perfect activity for any preschool alphabet lessons.
These letter puzzles help kids to recognize what each of the letters of the alphabet look. Kids can build them and use a new thinking process that is different from writing the letters.
I have a printable template that you can use to make these letter puzzles. The printable set includes letter cards with the capital and lower case letters as well as the needed pieces to build them. I also has individual letter pages for each letter and of course the template pieces to build the letters.
You can trace and cut out the templates from craft foam, cardboard or just print on card stock. If you are using card stock, you could laminate the pieces and they would be extra durable. You will need to print a few copies of the templates to be able to build all of the letters.
