Random Acts of Kindness Coloring Notes for Kids

It is so much fun to do a random act of kindness for strangers or for friends and family. It is something my kids and I have done a lot over the years and it always brings us joy. I made a set of random acts of kindness coloring notes that kids can color and pass out to people. See also my 50+ Random Acts of Kindness Ideas for Kids.

These random acts of kindness coloring notes have pretty flowers to color and little quotes on them that will cheer somebody’s day. They can be printed and given away anonymously or given, just because, to people you love!

I have a daughter who loves to write letters, color pictures and give little homemade things to people, so this was right up her alley. That is a quality I have always loved in her. She writes her cousins in other states, she sends notes to grandparents, and aunts and uncles, and to friends who have moved away. This little printable set is a great way to encourage that great giving quality that she was born with. Or, to help others to develop that great quality! 🙂

Some other fun things you could do with these acts of kindness coloring notes include: leaving it in a library book, leaving one in the mailbox for the mail man, giving one to a teacher or somebody that helps you in a store. Or, give one to a neighbor along with a plate of treats!

This week the Virtual Book Club for Kids is focused on Kindness!  The book of the week is The Lion and the Mouse by Jerry Pinkney. It is a wordless picture book based on the Aesop fable. That fable has always been one of my favorites, so I was excited about this book choice!

I love the concept that giving kindness will bring you kindness in return someday, but you should not do it for that reason! It’s all about the Golden Rule! 🙂
