What is Included in Schoolhouse Teachers?

Here are some of the things included on this online homeschooling website:

online homeschool with schoolhouse teachers

Schoolhouse Teachers has a team of amazing educators writing lessons for all topics of study.  It’s like buying a full year of curriculum in history, writing, geography, art, music, reading, grammar, chemistry, home economics, high school math, lapbooking, and even technology.

There are video tutorials, preschool lessons project ideas,  monthly free e-books, the Old Schoolhouse magazines & back issues, the Schoolhouse Expo recordings, & the planners which I described above.

There are copybooks, monthly reading lists, monthly themes for unit studies, and homeschool encouragement articles.

Schoolhouse teachers also keeps an archive of lessons for a few months back in case you missed some, or want to download older lessons. etc. And the list goes on…

Each month they publish new lesson plans for the month in all of these areas of study for various grade levels.  You really could use this exclusively for all of your homeschooling needs if you wanted to.

My Favorite Things from the Schoolhouse Teachers Website:

The Schoolhouse Planners-  I can’t begin to explain how awesome the Schoolhouse Teachers Planners are. With a membership to this website you get access to these planners.

There are a few different versions of the planner:  The regular one- which is what I am using.  It has over 800 pages of customizable planning pages.  It is all in PDF format so you can pick & choose which pages you want to use in your planner.

There are interactive calendars, planning pages, field trip logs, curriculum wish lists, and record keeping for each individual child. They have these must-know lists with all kinds of facts- books of the Bible, spelling rules, periodic table, U.S. presidents, and LOTS more.

There are household forms with chore charts, grocery lists, finance planning, meal planning… etc.  It goes on and on.

There is so much info in them that I am AMAZED!  I have printed mine out and bound it into my own little book- that I LOVE.

As well as the original planner there are ones for Special Learners, there are Primary planners, Intermediate planners and High School planners- so you can teach your kids how to plan and organize their lives.

The Schoolhouse Dailies- This is an area on the Schoolhouse Teachers website that we have been using a LOT.  I absolutely love it.  They are simple lessons that are all planned out.  It has been great to use in the summer to keep up on things.

Under the Dailies section they have the following:
Daily Grammar lesson
Daily Math Lesson
Daily Writing Lesson
This Day in History
Ditch the Desk- hands-on project ideas
Every Day Easels- fun art projects with mini art lessons
Every Day Explorers- for US & Canada
Pre-K Activities
Monthly Menu
Theme lessons- summer Shakespeare & Summer Olympics are on there right now
