The Easter Story in Eggs, also called Resurrection Eggs, is a fun tradition we have been doing for a few years now. It reminds me a little of a Christmas advent, but for Easter. Splat Painting
Here is a very messy, but really fun art project I did with my kids last fall. It's called Splat Painting. We had a blast with this one. Supplies: Washable paints Plastic cups Small sponges Spatulas or large spoons Large piece of paper I used newsprint paper. I have a huge roll that I bought from our local newspaper. Learning the Alphabet- Alphabet Mat
When I was a kid, my Mom made an alphabet mat. I remember having lots of fun playing on it. I decided to make one for my kids. They love it! We use it for so many things. We use it to say the alphabet & march along it as we sing or chant it. We also like to use it with bean bags- we'll say a letter & try to toss the bean bags to that letter. Homeschool: A New Beginning
