Doubles Math Puzzle Printable

We are always looking for better ways to make math more interesting in our home. One way we do that is through playing different math games. Today I am sharing a way to practice adding and multiplying doubles in math.

I had fun making these doubles math puzzles for my kids to practice their math facts.  There are ten different puzzles going from two to twenty. Each puzzle set has three pieces. The large top piece has the sum. The other two pieces have a multiplication or addition problem equaling the top number. These Doubles Math Puzzles could be used for review, and practice. Add them to your workboxes or math stations for variety!

Doubles Math Puzzle Game

This math game is simple, the kids have to find all three parts to make a match to solve the problem. The puzzles require knowledge of both addition and multiplication facts. We printed them on card stock and plan on laminating them to make them last through a few kids.

  1. I think this is absolutely brilliant Karyn. I’m sharing this because it’s fun game that kids can use to practice their skills. You have to be very good at addition before you can be good at multiplication. It’s like a 2-for.

    Love it!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful activity on the #homeschoollinkup!
