Homeschooling is difficult. Getting through just the basic subjects can sometimes be a really challenge. When things are busier, the subjects that tend to get left behind in our home are art and music. The extras just seem to be harder for me to fit in. I was so excited a few years back when I was introduced to Enrichment Studies. This website has helped me a lot with our art and music studies. It has simplified them and helped me to easily access resources without doing all of the extra work to find them.
What is Enrichment Studies?
Enrichment Studies is a website that compiles resources from around the web into easy-to-use collections for your homeschool. For example: If you are in need of help with your composer studies, you can purchase a collection on Baroque and Classical composers for $14.95. With that you get lifetime access to a collection with information on Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Haydn, Beethoven and Mozart. For each of these composers there is a page full of resources including a biography, links to printable coloring pages, word searches, and other free resources, links to other great educational resources, a Pandora station, videos with music and performances. While all of the resources provided are free to find online, the way that it is all put together for such a low cost makes it such a valuable resource!
There are a lot of different topics to choose from on Enrichment Studies. It is not just art appreciation and music studies anymore, either! There are now collections on the U.S. Presidents, including copywork pages with some of their famous quotes. They have scientists and inventors, penmanship collections, and even fine art pages that have printable pieces of art to coordinate with your artist studies.
They also have freebies that they share regularly. I like this Presidential Copywork freebie. It has penmanship and copywork for the first 6 presidents! If you sign up for their mailing list they will send you a sampling of their freebies and you can check it out and see how it all works!
We are doing Charlotte Mason style homeschooling in our home and using Enrichment Studies has made my planning so much easier! I know that I can easily log in and pick from the composers and artists in the collections I own. If I need new ones, the price is so low that I know it will be easy to afford more collections. Each collection sells for just $14.95. However, they do regularly have sales, so be on the lookout for that!
They have offered a great deal & a giveaway just for my readers! The giveaway is for the Renaissance Artists collection and the coordinating Fine Art Pages! This is a really good one!
Also, if you don’t want to wait and see if you win, you can use the discount code TEACH for 25% off any collections from now through August 16th.
