Fingerprint Heart Family Valentine

Valentine’s Day is a wonderful chance for kids to share their love with their parents as well as their friends. We made a fingerprint heart family valentine for the kids to give to their Dad this Valentine’s Day!
This is so easy to make and was a lot of fun for the kids. Plus, as a bonus, it is a keepsake because their little fingerprints will grow with them! You an date it and remember how small they used to be.
To Make the Fingerprint Heart Family Valentine:
Draw a heart on a white piece of paper. Use ink pads for the different people in your family. Each person should use a different colored ink pad.
Let the kids ink their pointer fingers and print a whole bunch of fingerprints all around the heart.
My toddler did NOT want my help, so it got a little messy! 🙂
I added some of my own fingerprints to this one, too!
Once the heart is full of all of the fingerprint love, let the ink dry completely and cut the heart out. There were so many smudges around the edges from all of my little darlings!
We picked a fun colored paper to put the finished heart on. We glued it with a glue stick. Then I wrote our names and had everyone mark their fingerprint again so Dad will know who made each fingerprint.
We are planning on framing this for him. He loves to hang things from the kids in his office since he is there so much of the day!
