Oh, Barbie is stylin’. My mom made tons of doll clothes for my dolls when I was growing up! That’s a sweet gift. I also love the treasure soap idea. I’m a mom of all boys… grimy boys who see no need to wash!

The homemade lip gloss idea looks cute.
Last year my three kids helped make rice bags for almost everyone on our list. Rice bags can be heated in the microwave or put in the freezer. Rice holds it’s temperature for a long period of time, so rice bags make good heating pads or cold packs. I didn’t make a post about it anywhere. I bet if you searched online you could find directions. Our rice bags were a huge hit at Christmas, and my kids who were 7, 7, and 9 were able to pretty much make them independently after some instruction and practice.

hello. i love to make my kids and family christmas gifts! this year some of the things on my list are: for my 6 year old daughter – a book caddy to hang by her bed to keep books in, library tote, on-the-go art case, drawstring pouches and a wrist wallet. for my 4 year old son – felt car play mat, library tote, spinny speller, drawstring pouches, lego table, sandwich cozy. for my 3 year old daughter – fishing hole game, baby doll diapers out of felt, felt food and a felt stove with oven to fit over a small table, card table house, library tote, felt camera, felt make-up, felt flashcards. happy holidays!
