I have a little confession to make. I have an obsession with making printables! I LOVE creating them and offering them to my readers. But here is where the confession and the mom guilt comes in. Sometimes I make them just for my website and my kids never see them! That’s right! Sometimes I make them just as a shop product and my kids use them just for a minute for my photos! Silly, right? I probably should NOT have guilt over this, but I do.
What is YOUR mom guilt? We all have it.
Today I am participating in a fun posting activity with the iHomeschool Network about Homeschool Mom Guilt. There are 24 bloggers participating in this promotion. Each blogger is sharing a way they feel homeschool mom guilt. Plus there is a fun giveaway included with this game.
I also have a promotion code for you to take half off any product in my shop! You know, one of those many printables I have created.
This is the Bingo Game board. To play, you can print it, if you’d like and click over to the iHomeschool Network for a clickable Bingo image. On their site, each one of these squares is linked for you to read about the different guilt issues we homeschool moms feel. You can also enter the giveaway for a bundle of 5 different homeschooling books over there.
Prizes you can win from the Moms Guilt Bingo Game:
- The Big Book of Homeschool Ideas (volume 1): 55 Moms Share Their Expertise on 103 Topics
- The Big Book of Homeschool Ideas (volume 2): 38 Moms Share Their Expertise on 57 Topics
- Homeschooling: What To Do When You Want to Quit
- How We Teach: the real lives of homeschoolers from classical to unschooling and everything in between
- Love Rebel: Reclaiming Motherhood
We are doing this to help you to feel that you are not alone in your struggles. We all have guilt and we all have hard times with homeschooling and parenting in general. Now, my problem may be something you do not relate to, but maybe yours is something like mine. Maybe you have a hobby or activity that you spend too much time on and feel like you are not doing enough for your kids. That’s where my guilt comes in.
Whatever your mom guilt may be, let’s talk about ways to cope with your guilt! What do you do to get through those times when you get down on yourself?
Please share your tips in the comments, because I am sure we can all benefit from your thoughts. Let’s build each other up and help each other through these guilt sessions we all have!
Now, just to relieve a bit of my guilt, I would love to give YOU a discount code for my shop. Find something that you can use with your kids to ease you guilt of not doing enough for them! The code is HalfOff (case sensitive).
Have fun playing this Mom Guilt BINGO game! I hope you’ll feel relieved to know you are not alone in your shortcomings and struggles.
