I am having fun participating in the 20 Days of Kid-Made Ornaments series. There are more than 50 bloggers participating and I have seen some fabulous ideas so far!!  For our kid-made ornament I made an i-spy Christmas ornament with the kids.

I have a TON of little shaped buttons that I have collected over the years from various projects. I decided these would be a lot of fun to use in our ornament. I let my kids go through and pick out their favorite shapes. We also threw in a few other fun little objects like letter beads, safety pins and more.

I used the plastic ornament balls that you can open and fill. To stuff it and hide all of the little objects, we used glitter and sequins. The kids loved filling the ornament with all of the fun little objects. I made a list of all of the objects that we put in and typed it up to attach to the ball so we knew what to find. I laminated the list and hole punched it, attaching it with a ribbon.

I love how our i-spy Christmas ornament turned out and so do the kids! They are having so much fun looking through it and trying to find all of the little hidden objects.  The great things is that this one will last a long time and give us fun for years to come!

You have GOT to stop by and see all of the other fun ideas being linked up at Mama Miss!
