Kiwi Crate – Craft Subscription

This post may contain affiliate links.

We are a crafting family. We love doing crafts and enjoying the time together as we create them. You may have seen the fun new craft subscriptions from Kiwi Crate. We got to try out one of these fun kits and loved it to bits. I love that the work is all done for me and we can just enjoy the fun. (I received a free Kiwi Crate and am being compensated for my time in writing this post. All opinions are my own.)

Kiwi Crate- City Adventure

Kiwi Crate sends out monthly craft and adventure kits for kids. They are full of activities, books, and supplies to create a ready-made adventure for your kids. Each box has a theme with activities surrounding that theme. We received the City Adventure crate and it couldn’t have been more perfect for my clan.

What is Inside a Kiwi Crate?

It comes in a cute green box and is just full of fun things to make and do. My kids couldn’t wait to dive in and explore!

The Kiwi Crate also comes with a story book telling a story about what the Kiwi bird character is doing. There are instructions teaching you how to do each activity and the kids really could do it all on their own. Our City Adventure crate had a taxi cab to build and decorate with real rolling wheels. It had a city scape to build with store fronts to decorate and color.

There was road tape to make roads for the city. There was a pair of child-sized scissors and a set of markers to help with the activities.   There were road signs and little characters that can stand up and move around to use in playing. Even the cardboard box was part of the scene with a park to color and display as a part of the city.

The nice thing about the theme of this box was that both my boys and my girl had fun with it. It took quite a long time to build and create all of the parts for this fun box. I would say it took my kids a good three hours. However, they were not done when the projects were finished. They kept playing with it for days. I let them keep it set up on the table for a few days. The parts are durable enough to save and play with another day, too. We packed them up and the kids have played with them quite a few times since.  The fact that they took so long to make was a huge benefit for me. It gave me a whole afternoon of happy, busy kids! There is nothing better than that.

My kids are practically begging me to get more of them. I am very tempted because of how happy and content it kept them!  🙂
