I can remember when my son was 4 and my daughter was 2 one particular incident where finger paint ended up all over the sofa, wall, bed, books, basically you name it. I thought the kids were asleep during a nap and boy was I ever wrong, LOL. With your idea you can have some finger painting / color mixing fun anywhere, anytime.
