I am an aunt to two sets of two kiddos, both pairs are seven and nine years old now. Is this a gift that we could buy one for each pair or kids and they could enjoy it together or would it be a pain to share? Thanks for the input. We have historically given books as gifts but now that the kids are getting older we want to do something that is fun but also helps them learn new things. This seems like it could be a good investment. Thanks for the input!

I have 4 Dash robots and 1 Dot. I got a Donor’s Choose grant for an iPad Air to run the apps. My iPad 2s do not support the app and since I have 1:1 iPads in my 5th grade classroom, the majority of them are 2s. I have managed to cajole 4 Airs from the media center though and now I have enough for several groups to be programming. We had a STEM competition last week. The kids, in groups, designed a LEGO pen holder for their robot that would allow the robots to be coded to draw their own mazes. Then another group has to code their robot to go through a competitors maze. I do have a xylophone and the kids are trying to code the robot to play the Star Wars Theme. The missed notes nearly put me over the edge. I have a musical ear and the bad notes were MORE than painful lol. It is an amazing opportunity for my chickadees!
