A Special Memory You’ll Love Looking Back On
I’ve done these with my older kids when they were little, and they are still some of my favorite keepsakes. It’s amazing to see how their answers change over time—and how much personality shines through even at a young age.
My youngest is so excited to have his own “school work” just like the older kids, and this book is the perfect way to include him.
My son’s first self portrait!

We love My Book about Me! I actually had a copy when I was a kid so I was sure to get one for my son and daughter when they were around 6. They’ve had a great time filling in all the fun pages — and so much counting is involved so it doubles as learning math too.
My oldest child wants to be a Doctor.
This is super cute. Thanks! I am pinning to my elementary school board! 🙂
A Power Ranger, or a marine biologist, or a ninja, or a waitress, she changes her mind a lot! 🙂
And the geeks come out in our family…..he wants to be Captain Picard from Star Trek Next Generation. lol…we watch Star Trek a little too much in our home! 😛
The Q&A a day book looks great. I’ll keep that book in mind for next year (Grade 2).
Currently my son wants to be a tow truck driver. He is very determined, knows he has to get a special license and has even picked out his truck color! 🙂
My boys want to be soldiers when they grow up.
To open a farm with an organic restaurant and a home for homeless families to get on their feet, learn job skills, and eat healthy.
I’m not sure what she wants to be but so far she loves animals, music and dancing 🙂
The 2yo’s not on that level yet but the 4yo said she wants to be a doctor for babies 🙂
My 6 year old wants to be a comedian. My 5 year old wants to be something different every day.
My kids all want to be either chefs or run orphanages.
This is a great About Me Book for kids. Thanks so much for sharing and for helping to bring a spoonful of reading fun to the Poppins Book Nook this month!
Thanks for the printable book! I think I’m going to have my middle two work through it this week!
Thanks for making this printable book. I have a passel of new children who arrived via the foster care system, and they need badly to be recognized for who they are and to start creating a history for themselves. This is going to be something they will be quite proud of. 🙂
What a great thing to do! They will love it.
I am planning to use in my new two year old classroom. Searching for resources to use in my classroom.
