Pretzel Patterns Printable Book

We love pretzels at out house. My kids think having a different shape of pretzel is like a brand new snack! Â But pretzels can now be used for more than just eating. Â I thought it would be fun to combine a few of the different pretzel shapes to make a pretzel patterns activity. Â Check these out!
To make this Pretzel Patterns book, we used three different shapes of pretzels. You can get a package of all three kinds of pretzels here. Or you can easily find them at your local store. We made them into all different kinds of shapes and patterns and took pictures. Then I used those pictures to turn into a printable book.
What I love about this is that it can be used as a quiet activity or as a math pattern activity. And when food is involved, kids are always more interested.
This book is 30 pages long. There are some easier patterns for your little ones or more complex images and shapes for your older kids.
I printed ours out on card stock paper and laminated it. Then attached with a ring clasp.
