Science Curriculum Reviews

This post may contain affiliate links.

Today I do not have any science curriculum reviews ready for you, but I want to tell you about the science we will be using this year. I mentioned in past posts that we are using Nancy Larson Science. We started it in the Spring and are really enjoying it. I will be sharing a few more posts about it this fall as we get going again in our school. (We are not starting until September 2nd this year). I got first grade science with Nancy Larson because I really wanted something that would be good for my 7-year-old daughter.  My son is passionate about science and we have been doing our science together as a family for the past few years, but I have been focusing more on him. I feel like my daughter was left behind a little in that area.  This year, I decided to break them up for science and let them each work at varying levels and even different subjects. I am a little nervous about it, but I think it is what they both needed.

For my 10-year-old son I am trying out Noeo Science, Chemistry level 2.  This science program is taught in a more Charlotte Mason way with a lot of living books to go along with it. I am really excited to try it out an will have a review for you in a couple months.
