Spot the Differences: Art Books for Kids

Fine arts are a big focus in our homeschool.  I  have always loved the fine arts and have tried to share that love with my kids.  I always look for creative ways to bring it into my children’s lives so that they, too will enjoy it. One way I do that is with books that include the fine arts in them in creative ways. We have been having so much fun with a set of art books for kids called Spot the Difference from Dover Publications.  These books are just the kind of things I look for to create an enjoyable learning experience for my kids.

I received a free set of Spot the Differences books in exchange for a review. I was compensated for my time in writing this review, but all opinions are my won.

Spot the Difference Art Books for Kids

We received a set of 4 Spot the Difference books for our review. Each of the books has 25 famous works of art. On one side of the page is the original work of art on on the other side is a picture with some changes. You have to study the painting and find the differences. The difference include things like different colors, small added items. reversed images, and more. They have little checklist on each page telling you how many changes you need to find.  The answers are in the back of the book in case they are needed!

It tells the name of the painting, the artist name, and the date it was done at the top of each page.  One part that I love is that on each page there are bubbles that tell interesting facts about the picture and the artist.  This helps kids to learn about the art as well as study it for the changes, making them quite familiar with the artwork. This adds so much to the learning experience!

My kids and I really like these books!  I love what they are learning, but I also love that the books are a fun activity for them. I definitely give these Spot the Difference art books a BIG thumbs up!
