Today’s post is kinda a HUGE deal for me.  I have an exciting thing to share with you and I am so excited!  I wrote a chapter for the brand new Big Book of Homeschool Ideas with iHN! My chapter is about playful learning ideas (my favorite topic)! Today is the very first day of the sale.  Woohoo!!    Big Book of Homeschool Ideas

The Big Book of Homeschool Ideas

First let me tell you a little about The Big Book of Homeschool Ideas.  This e-book was written by 55 homeschool moms who are bloggers and a part of the iHomeschool Network. There are 103 different topics and 561 pages of awesome content. Yeah, it really is a BIG BOOK!

The Big Book of Homeschool Ideas covers everything you ever wanted to know (and more) about homeschooling from some homeschool experts. There are chapters about every age level, every subject, co-ops schooling boys, only child families, learning with games, special needs, homeschooling while pregnant, military families, virtual schools, and more.  If you want to know something, it is very likely covered in this book.

The great thing about having it written by so many different authors is that we all bring our own experience and expertise to the table to share with you. I have only gotten part way through this book so far (did I mention it is BIG), and it has been so wonderful to me.

If you are looking for motivation, ideas, or planning tips, you’ll find it in this BIG book. Like I said above, my chapter is on playful learning (using games in learning). I shared research backing it as well as some fun ways to make learning more hands on in your homeschool.  It was a fun chapter to write about since it is really something I am passionate about.

I have read several other chapters and each one is really packed full of so much useful information. I am so happy to have the chance to be a part of this book!
