The History of St. Patrick’s Day

One of the most well-known legends about St. Patrick is that he used the shamrock, a three-leafed clover, to teach about the concept of the Holy Trinity—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Over time, the shamrock became one of the most recognized symbols of Ireland.
