Alaska is one of the most fascinating states in the U.S., and it has been so much fun to study with my daughter as we work our way through our U.S. Geography series. Today I’m excited to share our Alaska Geography Printable Pack with you!
She reminds me constantly to make the next state, and I’m loving this journey through the United States with her. We’re using these printable state packs as part of our geography lessons at home, and they’ve made learning about the states more interactive and exciting.

Alaska Ice Science STEM Connection

Kids can explore the science of ice and freezing with our Ice Boat Science Experiment, which investigates why ice floats and how ice behaves in water.
Resources We Recommend:
To complete the pack, you’ll need access to a United States atlas or the internet. Our favorite tools are:
- The 50 States by Gabrielle Balkan — a colorful, illustrated atlas kids love to explore
- National Geographic Kids United States Atlas — filled with real images and easy-to-read maps

I also recommend the beautifully written book L is for Last Frontier: An Alaska Alphabet by Carol Crane, part of the Discover America State by State series.
