I am so excited to be bringing you a brand new series this year on my website. I will be working through United States Geography, one state at a time. Today I have the Alabama printable geography pack ready for you! Grab the Alabama geography printable pack today!
I have a 10-year-old daughter who has been literally begging me for this! She and I decided together what things we would like to include in the United States Geography printable packs for this series. She told me all the things she wanted to learn about the states and I made it come to life for her. Each week I will bring you a new one. I started off the series with a US Geography Lesson printable pack.
This Alabama geography pack is 8 pages and includes a fact coloring sheet with the state bird, flower, flag, animal, map and more, a regional map, a state landmark coloring page, an Alabama info worksheet, a blank map to draw in Alabama, a map of Alabama to label, and a large flag coloring page.
To use this you will need a good United States atlas. We picked up two and are using them to work through this geography series. Our favorite is the The 50 States book by Gabrielle Balkan. It is a stunning illustrated book and my daughter loves looking through it. It has almost all of the info we needed. The United States Atlas from National Geographic Kids is great as well, in different ways. It has less details about individual states, but has more photos and real images. I felt like they each had great benefits and uses as we are learning about the geography of the United States.
We are excited to work through this entire series as a family and share it with you along the way. With 50 states, this will be a full year adventure for us! I hope you enjoy it.
