Post-It Notes are perfect to use in lots of creative ways for learning.  I have a bunch of creative ways to learn with Post-It Notes to share today. You can use them for all different levels of learning, from preschool to high-school. Since it is back-to school time, this is the best time to stock up on school supplies.  My favorite place to find the best deals for school supplies is at Walmart.

For kids a little older, you an do Math matching games by writing the problem on one and the answers on another. They stick the matches together.

Post-It Note Math

Use a Post-It note for kids to write words they do not know while reading.  Then when they are finished, they can define those words.

Post-It Notes For reading and Word Recognition

Book/place marker We use the little page marker Post-It Notes all the time to mark our place in books. They are great because they stay put.  They are also great to mark the exact spot on a page where you stopped reading.

Post-It Notes as a place marker in a book

Use them for labeling things you are learning.  We used Post-It Notes to label the continents.  You could label body parts for anatomy.  You could also label things around the house to practice reading or a foreign language.

Labeling With Post-It Notes

Make a Post-It Note flip book.  This can be a lot of fun for your little artists!

Play Build a Word with Post-Its.  Take a small stack of post-It Notes off the top of the pad. Cut in half most of the way up, leaving just the stick part un-cut.  Write different word endings and beginnings on the front and back part of the stick notes and let kids create words!

I love Post It NOtes! My latest use has been in helping me with blogging ideas. I visit my dad at the nursing home a lot and it is a great time to bring my latest copies of Good Housekeeping or Family Circle. I put several unused sheets of Post Its inside the cover. I fringe them with scissors before I do and bring a pen. Then when I find an idea I like ican tag it and stick it as a bookmark inside the magazine. Works perfectly!
