Are you an educator?  Do you care about making your teaching engaging, innovative and memorable?  I homeschool my kids and one of the reasons I do that is so that I can customize learning, make it great for my kids. I want them to LOVE learning and be excited about it. Because of that we do a lot of project-based and hands-on learning. You probably know that from reading my site a lot. Well, I have been lucky enough to be involved in a big project that brings together that love of hands-on learning and STEAM education.  I helped write the book STEAM Kids with 10 other top notch bloggers who I admire.

AND GUESS WHAT?!  It’s here!! Today is the launch day!  We have been working hard behind the scenes for a long time to bring you the STEAM Kids book!  Today you can finally buy a copy for yourself.  The book has already reached the #1  spot as a Hot New Release on Amazon in Children’s Science Experiment Books!

What is STEAM Kids?  It is a book full of more than 50 hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and math projects to teach, play and learn with kids! This book is packed full of awesomeness!  STEAM Kids was written and created by 11 educators, engineers, graphic designers, and homeschooling experts. It is geared to kids ages 4-10 with modifications and variations for other ages and related project ideas.

You can see a list of what is included here. Plus if you click on that image you can get a 3-page freebie with this printable list and a sample project!

STEAM Kids will get your kids excited about education. The book will help them to build, create, investigate, explore and design their way through learning. The projects are fresh, exciting and engaging and will bring learning to a fun new level. Not only are the projects great, but the book is gorgeous!  There are multiple bright full color pictures of every project. I think having such a talented group working on the project made it better than I could have imagined.

Along with the amazing 52 STEAM projects in the book, there is also an Activity Planner and a field trip guide to help you plan and create these activities with your kids or students.
