Fourth of July Craft: Flag Spinner Toy

How to Make the Flag Spinner Toy Craft:

Supplies Needed:
- Printable American flag templates (grab my download below!)
-
Toothpick or small wooden skewer
-
Red, white & blue markers or crayons (if using black & white version)
-
Scissors
-
Needle or sharp pencil

1. Print and Cut Out the Flag Template

2. Punch a Center Hole
Use a needle, pin or sharp pencil to carefully make a hole in the center of the circle. It should be just big enough to fit a toothpick snugly.

4. Insert the Toothpick
Break your toothpick in half and smooth out the broken end to make it flat. Slide the toothpick through the center hole so the paper circle sits in the middle. The pointy side should face up. Secure it in place with a dab of hot glue on the top and bottom.

5. Spin and Watch the Colors Blur!
Make your spinner toy spin! Â Flick the top with your fingers or spin the toothpick between your fingers. Watch the red, white, and blue designs swirl and twirl together like patriotic fireworks!
