Animal Guessing Game Printable (Fun Animal Game for Kids)

My son has loved animals for as long as I can remember. By age three, he was already reading animal books and memorizing facts most adults don’t know. Even now, when someone in our family has a question about animals, we send them straight to him.
One of his favorite things to do was challenge people to guess the animal he was thinking of. He would give clues and answer questions, and we would try to figure it out. Over time, this simple idea grew into something bigger—his very own game called The Animal Guessing Game.
We’ve played it often as a family. It’s perfect for car rides, waiting times, family nights, and homeschool learning. It’s fun, educational, and encourages kids to think critically about animals and their characteristics.
A Game Created by Kids, for Kids
When my son was working on a scouting merit badge, he decided to turn his Animal Guessing Game into a printable card game that others could play too. He designed it entirely on his own and brought it to scout camp to share with others.
I was so proud of his creativity and initiative that I offered to sell the game here on Teach Beside Me—and all proceeds go directly to his college fund.
This product represents his hard work, passion, and love of learning.
How to Play the Animal Guessing Game
The Animal Guessing Game uses a set of animal cards divided into three levels of difficulty:

Easy (green cards)

Medium (yellow cards)

Hard (red cards)
To play, one player chooses an animal card without showing anyone. The other players ask yes-or-no questions to figure out which animal it is.
Players might ask questions like:

Does it live in water?

Is it a mammal?
-
Is it bigger than a dog?
-
Does it eat plants or meat?
-
Does it have fur, feathers, or scales?
The goal is to guess the animal correctly.
When someone guesses correctly, they keep the card and choose the next animal.
The player with the most cards at the end wins.
