I made a set of doubles math puzzles in the past that were really popular with my kids and here on my site. I thought it was time to try another set! These ones are a combo of fraction, percentage, decimal puzzles.
These math puzzles combine equivalents of fractions decimals and percentages into one triangle puzzle. So, to play you match up the equal pieces.
The download has 24 different percentage puzzle pieces to play with and learn from. I made puzzles with percentages 1-10 and then by 10’s through 100 as well as a few other commonly used percentages. The download is all white, I just printed it on some fun colored cardstock.
The puzzles are all the same shape, so it pushes you to really learn the math behind it. The thing that I really like about them is that it is helping kids to understand fraction, percentage and decimal equivalents. It is a topic that is hard for kids to understand. With these puzzles, they will be able to see that these numbers, though written differently, are equal.
I was inspired to make this puzzle set by the Twizzlers Percentages book.
We simply adore all of these candy math books by Jerry Palotta. His books have inspired several of my other math printables, too, M & M Patterns, Skittles Math, and also Hershey Fractions. While this printable does not include licorice, my Licorice Shapes & Angles one does! 🙂
