If you are looking for some alphabet cards for your preschooler or kindergartner, this is a fun activity to help them learn their letters! These Garden Alphabet Cards have a letter, a word to trace, and a picture for the letters of the alphabet. They are perfect for any early learner!

Garden Alphabet Cards for Preschool

All of the cards have an uppercase letter at the beginning. Then the words start with an upper case letter, but the rest of the word is lowercase.

How To Use the Garden Alphabet Cards:

To use these, just print and cut them out. Next, you can let kids write the words right on the card. Printing on card stock makes them more durable. They could also be used as alphabet flashcards for kids to learn to recognize letters.

We have also laminated them to make them re-usable. Then you can write on the alphabet cards with a dry erase marker. (See our St. Patrick’s Day ABC cards for an example of using them laminated on a ring).

These are great for practicing letter formation, and for learning the spelling and reading of some larger words that young kids may not know yet.

Just a little warning, since I was sticking to a garden theme, I skipped a couple of letters in this set since they had nothing that related. There is no Q, U or X.

Love this activity. Those in my class who are just learning to write will be able to copy the letters while those who are already writing on their own will be able to copy the words onto another piece of paper. Thanks.
