When little kids are learning to count, they need a hands-on activity to help them learn it best. Today I have a fun Spring preschool math activity for you to use with your young learners, Carrot Garden Counting Mats.

How to Use This Spring Preschool Math Activity:

This is a super simple Spring preschool math activity to do with your kids. Just print, cut & go!

Included in the set are a blank carrot garden mat, carrots to plant, and 10 small carrot garden cards with different amounts of carrots planted in them including numbers 1-10.

To use the, let children choose a card and then match up the number of carrots on the large mat.  Practice counting as they go to help them learn counting to ten.  I liked turning the cards face down so it was a surprise which number they chose.

This is such a great activity for your little preschool or kindergartner who is working on counting to ten.
