The Math Behind the Game
This activity is a fun way to introduce probability in a way kids can easily understand. Each coin flip has two possible outcomes with an equal chance — just like the classic Groundhog Day question:
Will the groundhog see his shadow or not?
Kids get to experience how random chance works while cheering for spring (or winter!).
