These Multiplication Houses Printables turn math practice into a hands-on activity that kids actually enjoy. By combining art and math, kids can build, decorate, and interact with their multiplication facts in a memorable way.

Why Multiplication Facts Can Be Challenging
Learning multiplication facts takes practice—and for many kids, it can feel repetitive or frustrating.
That’s why hands-on activities like this work so well. They help kids:
- Stay engaged
- Build understanding through patterns
- Practice facts in a more meaningful way
What Are Multiplication Houses?
Multiplication Houses are a creative math activity where each “house” represents a multiplication table.
Each house focuses on one number (from 1–12), and kids fill in the multiplication facts behind little window flaps.
It turns memorization into an interactive experience.

What’s Included in the Printable
This set includes:
- Multiplication houses for numbers 1–12
- Window-style flaps for each fact
- A fun, buildable format kids can assemble and decorate

How to Use the Multiplication Houses
Step 1: Print and Cut
Print the houses and cut them out.
Step 2: Create the Windows
Carefully cut around each square so it opens like a window flap.
Step 3: Mount the House
Glue the house onto another sheet of paper—but leave the windows unglued so they can open.
Step 4: Fill in the Facts
Choose a house (for example, the “3s house”).
Write the answers behind each window:
- 3 × 1 = 3
- 3 × 2 = 6
- 3 × 3 = 9
… and so on
Step 5: Decorate!
Let kids personalize their houses with colors, drawings, and designs.
This is where the fun really happens!

I love anything that allows the kids to work on their Math skills alone! This is a cool idea and not as boring as flash cards.
Very cute. I like the creativity and hands on way of learning.

What a great idea!! I’ve been struggling with getting my kids to memorize their multiplication facts. We may just make a few of these today :). And I especially love the idea of putting them all in a book when you’re done. Brilliant!
