I am so excited to be bringing you a brand new series this year on my website! I will be working on a U.S. Geography series. Today, I have an Alabama state geography learning pack to share with you. This Alabama geography printable pack has helpful resources to help teach your students about the state of Alabama. I hope you will add this to your geography or social studies lesson plans!

I have a 10-year-old daughter who has been literally begging me for this! Â She and I decided together what things we would like to include in the United States Geography printable packs for this series. She told me all the things she wanted to learn about the states and I made it come to life for her. Each week I will bring you a new one.
I started off the series with a US Geography Lesson printable pack.

To use this printable worksheets pack you will need a pencil or pen, colored pencils or crayons, and a good United States atlas or the internet for research. I always recommend using an atlas for kids to build research skills!
Our two favorite atlases for this state series are:
- The 50 States by Gabrielle Balkan: a colorful, illustrated resource that my daughter loves flipping through
- National Geographic Kids United States Atlas: offers real photos and helpful visual references for each state
I felt like they each had great benefits and uses as we are learning about the geography of the United States.
Alabama Ecosystem STEM Connection
Alabama is home to forests, rivers, wetlands, and diverse wildlife. These ecosystems depend on complex food chains to keep plants and animals healthy and balanced.
Kids can learn more about how living things depend on one another with our Food Chain Game, a fun hands-on activity that explores producers, consumers, and decomposers.

We are excited to work through this entire series as a family and share it with you along the way. With 50 states, this will be a full year adventure for us! Â I hope you enjoy it.
