Spring is the perfect season to explore birds, nests, and new life. Around here, spring means watching for returning birds and keeping an eye on the trees for newly built nests. It’s the ideal time to teach kids about bird life cycles, and these interactive Bird Life Cycle Spinners make learning visual, hands-on, and fun.

Life cycle lessons help children understand how animals grow and change, and birds offer the perfect real-world example. One year, we were lucky enough to watch a robin build a nest right outside our window. We saw the entire process—from nest building, to eggs, to hungry little hatchlings. It’s an experience my kids still remember!
