Just in time for Fall I have a fun new edible slime / dough for you guys to try!  Are you a candy corn fan?  This is an edible candy corn slime!  It is really more of a play dough consistency, but it is great fun to play with either way!

First off, if you have not seen any of my other edible slimes, you have to be sure to check them out next!  I have made Edible Starburst Slime, Edible Chocolate Slime, Edible Marshmallow Slime, and Edible Laffy Taffy Slime! These are so fun to make and play with if you have kids!  My kids get so excited with each new edible slime we make.

How to Make Edible Candy Corn Slime / Dough

This recipe only takes 3 supples. Candy corn, powdered sugar and coconut oil (or shortening if you desire).

3/4 bag candy corn (save a few to mix in at the end)

1 Tbsp coconut oil

2 Tb- 1/4 c powdered sugar

This time I tried out the microwave for my candy corn slime. In the past I have always done my edible slimes on the stove with a double boiler technique. The microwave was WAY easier!  I poured the candy corn into a microwave safe bowl and added in the coconut oil. Microwave at 30 second increments and mix each time until the candy corn is fully melted. It took about a minute and half in mine. Mix well. The oil does not fully mix in, but makes it much easier to work with so the candy does not stick to your hands.

Dust a non-stick surface with powdered sugar. Mix and knead for a minute or two until smooth and add in some of the un-melted candy corns. If it is still hot, they will just melt and break.

Voila!  Now you have some edible candy corn slime to play with and eat!

Be sure to play with clean hands! 😉
