Simple Kids Craft: Hole Punch Pictures

Make this simple craft with your kids: Hole Punch Pictures are easy, colorful and a recycled paper project.
You know how you always end up with TONS of those little dots of paper in your 3-hole punch? Â It’s the worst when they spill, am I right?
Well, I have an idea for how you can use them. Recycle them into something creative! Â We did something fun with them! Â We made hole punch pictures and it was so easy.
How to Make Hole Punch Pictures:
Our 3-hole punch was full of lots of paper dots of many colors. I might have added a few more colors in to make it a little brighter. 🙂  Grab some colored paper for this project.
We came up with some ideas of what we wanted to pictures to be. Â My kids wanted me to help them out a little, so I drew pictures first on the paper using pencil.
Then my daughter traced over the drawing with a glue bottle. This is a great fine motor building activity! (squeezing the bottle, using the pincer grasp to put on the paper dots)
Once the picture was completely traced with glue, they made their hole punch pictures by covering the glue with their 3-hole punch pieces. Â We just did ours in an outline, but you could fill it all in if you have enough paper dots.
We made a snake and a butterfly! I think they turned out great! Â My kids loved making their hole punch pictures. It was very easy, so it will likely be a repeat craft in our house.
