It seems like the perfect time to teach kids about germs and hand washing, am I right? We have been talking about it a lot at our house. Every time we leave our home, we all walk back in and scrub our hands clean. Â Today I have a hand washing game and poster for you to use with your kids. I called the game Germ Busters since it is all about getting rid of those germs. Plus the cute people in it look just like Ghostbusters!
Germ Busters: Hand Washing for Kids
This printable set includes a game board, a set of cards, game pieces, and a die. Also included is a very cute printable hand washing poster you can hang up near your sink to help kids learn the proper way to wash their hands.
Get the game ready by cutting and preparing all of the parts. There are 2 types of cards, germ busters and germ attack. Â Divide the cards into two piles.
To Play the Germ Busters Hand Washing Game:
Roll the die and count out the spaces on the game board. If you land on a germ, pick a germ attack card and do as it says on the card. The germ attack cards have you move back 2 or three spaces.
If you land on a space with hand washing, soap, wipes, hand sanitizer, wiping a counter, or kleenex then choose a germ buster card. Those cards move you forward more.
The first player to reach the clean hands space wins!
