Do you like sour candy? I have always kinda loved sour candies and sour patch kids are no exception! Today I want to show you how to make Rainbow Sour Patch Kid Edible Slime! This stuff is so fun and so easy to make! (Did you know I have a bunch more edible slime recipes?! We love them!)
How to Make Sour Patch Kid Edible Slime
This edible slime is REEEEEAAALLLY easy to make. You will love it.
Start by tearing open that bag of Sour Patch Kids candy. I used a jumbo bag- it says 1.9 lbs. on it.
Divide the Sour Patch Kids candy into five bowls by color.
Get you kids in on the dividing action. They will love it. And will definitely love eating a few in the process.
Next you will microwave each bowl for one minute stirring at the half way point. Once it is finished, stir until the gummy candies are all the way dissolved.
Turn the slime out onto a surface spread with some cooking oil to prevent sticking. I also like to spray my hands a little bit to keep them from getting too messy. It gets VERY hot so use caution when removing from the bowls so you do not burn yourself. We spread ours out a bit to cool more quickly.
Now it is play time!

March 27, 2018 at 9:49 amMy only question…how easy is it to clean the bowls? I am wondering if I would want to do this with disposable bowls.
