Supplies For the Egg Carton Flower Bouquet

Instructions for the Spring Flower Craft:

  1. Prep Your Carton – Cut the egg carton into individual cups. Each cup will become a flower.

  2. Shape the Petals – Trim around the edges of each cup to make them look like petals. Try different styles—pointed, rounded, wavy—to create different types of flowers.

  3. Paint the Flowers – Lay the cups open-side up on paper towels or newspaper. Let your kids paint them any way they like! Try painting the inside and outside different colors, or add dots, swirls, and stripes.

  4. Let Them Dry – Once your flowers are painted, let them dry completely before adding stems.

  5. Attach the Pipe Cleaner Stems – Poke a small hole in the bottom of each flower cup and thread a pipe cleaner through. Bend the tip over to hold it in place (this also makes a cute flower center),  glue a pom-pom or make any kind of flower art in the center.

  6. Display or Gift – Arrange your flowers in a small vase, mason jar, or wrap them in tissue paper to create a bouquet. These make adorable handmade gifts for Mother’s Day, spring birthdays, or just to brighten someone’s day!
