Educational Benefits of Doing a Nature Scavenger Hunt

Nature scavenger hunts are a wonderful way to introduce the natural world to younger kids.  They can help older kids and younger kids work on their observation skills. Nature lessons are also great science lessons. The changing seasons are the perfect time to get kids out exploring, studying, and observing what is happening. They can learn about different types of trees, different animals, birds, insects, seeds, wildflowers, weather, and more! Plus, screen-free activities are  always a great option.
