I have a St. Patrick’s Day rainbow craft to share with you today! This was such a fun one to make. My kids and I all enjoyed this. Even my oldest boy who usually opts out of arts and crafts these days was excited to join in on our rainbow craft.
We made our rainbows with 6 q-tips that we taped together with 2 pieces of packing tape. Leave the tips out so they can be used for painting.
To dip the q-tips in different colors of paint you have to bend them so they don’t get mixed with all of the other colors. Then paint across the paper!
Then we decorated our projects with clouds, a sun and a pot of gold. To glue these on we used our Elmer’s Early Learners glue sticks! They are the best for my little guy!
We have some gold sparkly paint that we used to decorate the pot of gold. They also used their q-tips to dot on some raindrops.
I absolutely LOVE how they turned out!!
Want a great rainbow book to go along with this rainbow craft?
What Makes a Rainbow? by Betty Ann Schwartz has been our favorite for years!
I have been asked to be a part of the Elmer’s Early Learners Academy Blogger Ambassador Program. As a part of this program I will be sharing seasonal crafts using the Elmer’s Early Learner’s products. We were given a few samples of glue sticks to use for our crafts. I am also so lucky to be able to give away a $25 VISA gift card to one of my readers to help you create your own crafts!! (enter below!!)
Elmer’s Early Learner’s Academy products are launching in Michael’s Craft stores this Spring! You will love having you little ones use them! The nice thing about the Early Learner’s products is that they are made bigger making it easier for little hands to use them. They are great for toddlers and preschoolers, but all of my kids really love them.
