I feel like I have been teaching or working with addition for most of my life. I am on my fourth child now who will be learning it and always want extra ways to help my kids practice their addition facts.  Today I’ve got some  addition practice worksheets for you.  Everyone needs a little extra practice sometimes, am I right?  This set of addition worksheets are a just right for those times when kids just need a little more.

Addition is a critical math skill that we all need and we really want kids to master it. They have to master this skill to understand pretty much all of the rest of math they will learn. These addition tables will be a great way to help them master them. You can use these math worksheets in your home for extra practice, in a classroom, at math centers, for distance learning, or in a homeschool setting. Â They are great for 1st grade and 2nd grade level students.Â
What’s Included in the Addition Practice Worksheets?
These worksheets are basic addition tables covering the numbers 1-12. Â Each page has a table of 30 squares adding by the featured number through the number 30. They feature both single digits and double digits. For example if we are adding by 7 it will have 1 + 7, 2+7, 3+7, 4+7, etc. all the way through 30. It covers the numbers one through twelve.Â

These addition tables are great warm-ups for kids to get their mind going when you are starting a lesson in elementary school math.  You could use them as timed exercises, just as regular math lessons, or as  homework sheets for extra practice. They will help kids have a solid foundation with their addition skills!
Some kids may need number lines, or visual aids to help them early on to grasp the concept of addition. If they are struggling try using small objects for adding such as math cubes, base ten blocks or counting bears.Â
