Happy Thanksgiving Week!
Here are some Thanksgiving resources we are enjoying this week:

A fun and simple craft to show what we are thankful for this month

ABC Teach has a printable book I am Thankful.  My kids enjoyed writing and drawing about things they are thankful for.

Scholastic has a wonderful Thanksgiving resource that we have been using for a few years.  It has an interactive Mayflower journey, letters from Indians and Pilgrims, videos, stories, images, and more.

Homeschool Freebie of the Day has 2 different Thanksgiving Audio stories listed this week:  The Path of Praise,  and The Stepping Stones.  We have been enjoying listening to them!

The William Bradford movie from Animated Hero Classics. (William Bradford is my ancestor ~ how cool is that?!)  We watch this on Discovery Education, but it is on YouTube, too.  Brain Pop has a Thanksgiving movie.

Making a Thanksgiving Acrostic Poem- write something you are thankful for with each letter of the word Thanksgiving.

Here is what my son came up with:

Apple Cider
Ice Cream
Village of the Pilgrims
Iron (the metal)
Nice Parents

Plus…tons of fun books about the Thanksgiving holiday…

How are you celebrating this week?  I hope you have a wonderful holiday week filled with family, friends, love, laughter and lots of good food!

love karyn
