Mother’s Day is coming soon! Â Today I have a cute Mother’s Day All About My Mom printable of you. I have gotten these from my own kids over the years and they always both warm my heart, and give me a good laugh! I thought I would put my own spin on the ones I have seen and make some for you to print and use with your students or kids.

All About My Mom Printable:
This fun printable All About My Mom worksheet is the perfect gift for young kids to give to their moms (or Mother figure) on Mother’s Day. It is a Mom questionnaire for young children to answer about their mothers. This could also be used for a mom’s birthday, or other special day.
It includes simple fill-in-the-blank questions for kids to answer about their mother including their age, favorite food, favorite color, favorite thing to do, a place to draw a picture of mom, and more! Depending on their age, adults can write in the child’s responses for them if needed. It’s best written in their own words, though! Kids can use crayons, colored pencils or markers to fill out these simple questions.
The fun of these Mom Printables comes in the answers younger children give. Kids usually give answers that make their moms laugh and cry all at the same time! Â They reveal a lot about what kids perceive about their moms! They are a beautiful keepsake and guarantee a happy Mother’s Day!

History of Mother’s Day:
Did you know? Mother’s Day was first proposed in 1907 by Anna Jarvis. It was suggested as a day set aside annually for children to honor their mothers. She campaigned vigorously for seven years to turn it into a national holiday.
On May 8, 1914, Woodrow Wilson declared the second Sunday in May to be Mother’s Day as an annual expression of our love for our mothers. It quickly turned into a commercial holiday that Anna Jarvis greatly disagreed with. She spent the rest of her life arguing to keep it simple with letters, visits, acts of kindness, and simple tributes to mothers, not a commercial day full of expensive and elaborate Mother’s Day gifts!
