Foam Letter Word Search

Have you seen those Foam Letter Stickers? They have them at the dollar store here. We love using them for all kinds of projects. This week I made the kids a little foam letter word search with them.  It was such a fun activity for my kids!
How To Make Your Own Foam Letter Word Search
The foam letter for search activity is very simple to make! Â You’ll just need some foam letter stickers, some paper, and a pencil or pen.
To make this fun spelling and reading activity, I started by spelling out a few smaller, easier words that I know my kids can read. Â I stuck them onto a large sheet of paper. Â Then I filled in the rest of the paper with other letters. Â Try to keep them in straight rows!
The foam letter word search can be used for a few different learning concepts. Â My kids started by circling the words they found.
Next, I made it even more educational and had them write the words they found on another sheet of paper, too. Â They didn’t notice that as they did this they were also practicing reading, writing and spelling all at once. Â It was too much fun to notice!
This activity could also be used just for teaching the alphabet. Fill up a page with alphabet stickers in random order and have kids hunt for the letters you call out.
What a cute ides! LOVE that he made the word LEGO – that is too precious!
What a cute idea. I have a drawer full of these letters. I follow you via GFC. I host a weekly party that starts at 6:00pm every Tuesday called Fluster’s Creative Muster Party. I would love for you to stop by and share your talent and creativity.

Brilliant way to get rid of all the extra letters that are left at the end of a pack, once the A’s and E’s are gone. 🙂
This is such a brilliant and cute idea!!! Pinned
